Tend Skin Care Solution Review

I purchased Tend Skin Care Solution because of the razor bumps in my bikini area. I have always used razor in that part because it was easy and it was not time-consuming. The last time that I did that, I was really in a hurry and I just shaved mindlessly. It was too late when I noticed that the area turned red and that pimple-like red bumps appeared.

What made it worse was that the bumps were noticeable when I wear bathing suit. I tried different bathing suit designs in the fitting room of a department store but not one of them could hide the red bumps. The worst part was that we will be having a swimming party in 5 days. I was glad that my boyfriend recommended me this product.

I was using it after my baths in the morning and in the evening. There are still some razor bumps on the 5th day but I was able to wear my bathing suit on the party. My boyfriend started using it after shaving. Based on my own and my boyfriend's experience, I can say that this product is effective.

The only thing that I don't like is the smell of Tend Skin care solution. It's supposed to care for you skin but it smelled pretty bad. Whenever I open the bottle, it's as if I am opening a jar of rotten fruit or something. I wish they can come up with nicely scented variety. But other than this, it is effective with razor bumps.

Makeup Brushes

While most makeup compacts come with mini brushes for application, it's quite helpful to have a good set of personal makeup brushes instead. The small brushes placed in compact blush and eye shadows don't often last long or apply the makeup well. Purchasing a set of makeup brushes is a good investment and one that shouldn't be too expensive.

When choosing makeup brushes, there are several different types of brushes to look for. First, you'll want to look for a large powder brush. These brushes have a large, round top with thick, soft bristles and are best used for applying powder evenly to the face. Powder brushes can be used for bronzer but should not to be confused with their slightly smaller counterpart, the blush brush. The blush brush is the perfect size to apply blush to just the right parts of the face. Using a powder brush for blush can often lead to lack of control as to where the color goes. Using a blush brush will give the definition and coverage you're looking for.

The majority of makeup brushes are used for the eyes. You should certainly look for a basic eye-shadow brush, usually just a small square of bristles for applying color all over the eyelid and beyond. However, if you're planning to use various makeup effects on the eyes, you'll also find it helpful to choose an angle brush for applying makeup neatly into the crease as well as on the outer corner. A fine-tip brush works well for adding eye liner or a line of dark eye shadow right on the lash line for an outstanding effect.

Finally, there are lip brushes. These brushes are typically fine-tipped and have very sturdy bristles. They are used to apply lip liner, lip gloss, or lipstick evenly and correctly. Because of the makeup being applied with lip brushes, you may need to wash them more frequently than the other types of makeup brushes.

Look for brushes made with natural fibers which will not irritate your skin or fall apart easily. Every couple of weeks, wash the makeup brushes in warm, sudsy water to remove any build up of makeup or dead skin cells. Store your makeup brushes in a moisture-free, clean bag or container and be sure they are not crushed under layers and layers of beauty products. Finally, if makeup brushes begin to wear out, spend a couple dollars and buy some new ones. Makeup brushes will not break your bank, but they will change the way you apply makeup.

Summer Hair Care Made Easy

The women who glide out of the pool with long, blonde locks streaming behind them make everything about luxurious, summertime hair look effortless. The reality is far more complicated. Keeping hair smooth and healthy in the summer can be a challenge for many gals. Summer hair care can involve spritzers and sprays and dozens of deep conditioning treatments to keep your locks in line. Following some easy summer hair care tips will make keeping your hair beautiful, easy.

The Dangers of Summer Sun
Intense heat from the sun is not only bad for your skin; it is downright nasty for your hair! Hot temperatures and high humidity can cause your healthy hair to become dry, frizzy, dull, and baked. There is no type of hair that is safe from those hot summer rays. Whether you have thin and fine hair or thick tresses, you will need to take precautions in order to keep your mane moist and lush.

Shampooing and Conditioning
Summer hair care differs from winter hair care in many ways. Taking a new approach to shampooing can help to boost your chances of having healthy summer hair. Summertime hair is more fragile and more likely to break and split than in other, less arid, seasons. Shampoo half as much as you normally would or try using only conditioner on the days that you don't shampoo. This will allow your hair to absorb more of its natural oils. Finish off your shampoo with a cold water rinse to promote natural shine and healthy cuticles.

When it's time to condition, look for a quality leave-in conditioner to follow your normal, rinse-out treatment. The long-lasting restorative will allow your hair to drink-up, all day long. Once or twice a month, opt for a deep conditioning treatment. Just apply to damp hair and wrap in a towel from anywhere between a couple of hours to overnight.

Keeping it Real
Try to limit anything unnatural during the hot, summer months. This is a great time to give your hair a much needed vacation from flat irons, chemical relaxers, hair color, bleach, and blow dryers. All of these things will only add to the stress that is already put on your hair by the scorching summer rays.

If you want to add a little flair to summer hair, try using bobby pins or braids to add a wave to damp hair!

Hydrate Your Way to Healthy Hair
One of the most important things to remember when spending time outside in the summer is to stay hydrated. Even when you are surrounded by water at the beach or soaking up the sun, poolside, you need to have bottled water at hand. Drinking plenty of water keeps your skin and your hair plump and hydrated; remember, your hair can get dehydrated just like your body can! Summer hair care is only a bottle of water away!
